Assignments Drawing and painting 
(art 1)
Student must do a journal entry every day (3 sentences)(must have dates)
What did I learn today? What could I do differently?  What are my plans for next time? Students will also spent the first 10 minutes of class working on their observation drawing techniques.  Light source....shading techniques.....smudging technique are a few of the techniques student will be expected to fine tune.

December 4  Students are introduced to a music book.  they must choose a song and then visually put it into a book.  Student will start out by preping the paper they will turn into a book.  They will paint the paper with gesso on both sides and then
