Dori Harvey has been teaching at Mediapolis since 2010.  She started her career with a psychology/ sociology distributed major at Buena Vista University in 1999.  After working in the field for three years she left to take care of family responsibilities and later became owner and head baker of a family food related busines,  where she worked while getting her secondary teaching endorsement in Occupational Family and Consumer Sciences at Iowa State University.  She took classes to earn a Health certification at University of Northern Iowa.
