Erin Woodruff's Assignments

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are off to a very busy start this year at Mediapolis High School, but I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you.  My name is Erin Woodruff and I will be your students Resource teacher.

What I will be responsible for as the Resource Teacher is:

• Monitoring your students homework, and progress in classes
• Assisting with homework completion
• Reading exams if this is an IEP accommodation
• Working with classroom teachers to set due dates for projects, assignments and exams that meet the student IEP plan
• Monitor your students IEP and classroom accommodations- we will be reviewing student accommodations and will clarify terminology with students.  Students will sign their accommodation sheet to indicate that they have discussed these with their resource teacher and then the form will be sent home to parent/guardians for review and signature.
• Schedule IEP meetings and work as an advocate for you and your student
