I received my bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and my Master's in Teaching and Learning with Technology from Ashford University. I moved back to the area in 1997 and began employment with Southeastern Community College. That position led me to Crusade High School, where I taught for 11 years. I currently work with high school students on credit attainment, successful course completion and independent studies in sociology and health. I also serve as the K-12 Truancy Officer for the Mediapolis Community School District.
