Nancy Carter

Talented and Gifted Coordinator

Mrs. Carter has coordinated the K-12 gifted program since 1993. Mrs. Carter grew up in inner-city Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from John Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She is also endorsed to teach General Science and Talented and Gifted. Mrs. Carter decided she was going to be a teacher when she was in second grade thus she spent her academic career ";practicing"; to be a teacher. Mrs. Carter loves to read, is fascinated by science and, also, plays the piano for choir and for fun.
