Assignments are in reverse order:  (new assignments on top, older to the bottom)

9/13 and 9/14 Test Chapters 1 & 2.  Atoms notes, atoms family worksheet, isotopes notes, and begin work on kids' book over atoms.

9/9 and 9/10 (Review sheet) Chapters 1&2.  Do Book questions: pg 22-24 Q 31, 33, 36, 38, 40, 43   AND   page 54-56 Q 45, 46, 49 b-e, 50, 54, 71. 

9/7 and 9/8 Penny Density activity.   

9/2 and 9/3 Mystery Powders lab. 

8/31 and 9/1  Notes over (SI Units) and (SI prefix conversions) (ex: kilometers to centimeters).  Worksheet.  If time, make some measurements using tape measures, scales, graduated cylinders, etc. 

8/27 and 8/30  Parent Survey handed out.  Due next time and worth extra credit.  Pick nicknames for the blog, see how to get to and do the blog.  FIRST BLOG IS DUE FRI SEPT 3RD!!!  Chapter 1 notesheet.   

8/25 and 8/26  Lab: Observation and Experiment 

8/23 and 8/24/2010   (Classroom expectations,) the (blog), safety, student survey, handed out texts.  Went over lab to be performed next time in class.  Assignment:  have parent/guardian sign the classroom expectations and blog paperwork, and bring back for points.
