9/9 Notes over SI Units.  Do some measuring of length, mass, volume and temp.  Notes over SI conversions,  Worksheet SI conversions. 

9/7 TEST Chapter 1.  Read pages 33-45, Chapter 2 sections 1 & 2.  Using alphabet tiles, make sentences about the reading.   

9/2 Experiments POP QUIZ.  Review sheet over chapter 1. 

8/31 Notes over about what science is and the (scientific method).  Notes over (independent) and dependent variables.  Make your own experiments on transparency paper; show to class and have them guess independent, dependent variables and controls.   

8/27  Go over film canister activity.  Answer questions on Mystery Film Canister worksheet.  Pick out nicknames, go over how to blog.  FIRST BLOG DUE:  FRIDAY SEPT 3RD!!!  Read pages 10-17, write down vocabulary words and define them.  Take notes over pages 10-17.  Due next time.  

8/25  Film canister activity. 

8/23   (Classroom expectations,) the (blog,) safety, student survey, handed out texts.  Assignment:  have parent/guardian sign the classroom expectations and blog paperwork, and bring back for points.
