Dear Mediapolis School District Community,
We are thrilled to share an exciting update as we move forward together! Our mission statement has guided us since 2008, but with the world evolving, it was time to reflect and renew our shared purpose. Through meaningful collaboration with our dedicated staff, students, school board, and you—our incredible community—we conducted a survey to shape the future of our district’s mission and vision.
After thoughtful input and deliberation, we are proud to announce our updated Mission Statement, chosen by 51% of survey participants over three other options:
Mediapolis School District is committed to fostering an environment that provides opportunities for high levels of learning and promotes personal growth, creating productive citizens prepared for the challenges of the future.
This mission reflects our collective commitment to empowering every student to thrive academically, grow personally, and contribute meaningfully to society. Alongside this, we are excited to unveil our new Vision Statement, which will inspire and guide us toward a bold future:
