Join us at Vocal Showcase for an evening of 60's hits and choral classics! Featuring Spontaneous Combustion Show Choir, HS & MS Concert Choirs, and special featured acts. This Saturday, May 2 at 7:00 PM in the High School Gym. Tickets are $5 @ door. Doors open @ 6:15 PM. 60's attire welcome.

Great progress continues on the new driveway and parking area! Next week, we’ll open the straight driveway portion to provide access to the community field. JH Track and Field originally scheduled for WACO on Friday, April 17 has been moved to West Burlington.
This morning the Mediapolis Schools conducted an ALICE intruder drill in conjunction with the Des Moines County Sheriff's Department.
Students from the Mediapolis High School competed last Friday at SCC for the annual Southeast Iowa Skills Throwdown. Brookelyn Fenton took home top prize in the welding contest, and is the schools first individual to place in welding through all the years of the contest. Additional welders that represented Mediapolis were Luke Steffener and Evan Frank. In the Construction Trades Contest, Mediapolis was represented by Grant Beschorner, Zack McLaughlin, Henry Nalley, and Aiden Frank. This is the 8th year that Mediapolis has competed at the skills challenge. Students finished the day out by touring KPI Metals in West Burlington, and would like to thank them for opening their doors for a tour.
