Congrats to Will Schmidgall, Simon Wendel and Mason Lindeen on qualifying for the IHSAA State Cross Country Championships. They will run next Saturday, November 2nd in Fort Dodge. Great job to ALL the cross country runners and coaches for an outstanding season!
In Mrs. Pierson's class, students have been diving deep into the life cycle of stars by creating their own models. Modeling in science plays a crucial role in helping students grasp complex concepts that can't be directly observed. By building and presenting their own star life cycle models, students brought the cosmos into the classroom, transforming abstract ideas into tangible, visual representations. This hands-on approach not only boosts understanding but also allows for creative exploration of how stars evolve over time. Here a re a few images from their Galaxy Walk.

The 6-8th grade students celebrated reaching their WIG goal (Wildly Important Goal) with an outside fun reward. Students participated in dodgeball, yard games and free recess on Monday afternoon. Students in middle school have been working hard on their goal of positive behaviors in and out of the classroom. Keep up the GREAT work Middle School! #MEPOpride

ELEMENTARY Red Ribbon Week October 28th-31st
🎉 Congratulations to Mediapolis High School's Construction and Building Trades Team for their first place finish! They placed 1st at the annual Carl A. Nelson building trades competition in Burlington last Thursday. 🏆
We had $8,950 in Book Fair sales with just over $1,700 spent on our teachers and classrooms. We had 91 books donated for the U of I Children's Hospital totaling $540.
Thank you for everything! It was a very successful week for sure!
