Today, October 31, 2025, we at Mediapolis Community Schools had the incredible opportunity to join forces with four other forward-thinking Iowa districts at the Des Moines County Educator Conference. What a powerhouse gathering!

We dove deep into transformative strategies with the one and only Dr. Anthony Muhammad, renowned expert on school culture and author of *Transforming School Culture*. His session on "Cultures Built to Last" hit home—reminding us that fostering enduring, positive environments isn't just nice-to-have; it's the foundation for student success, teacher fulfillment, and schools that thrive for generations.

--Absentee Ballot: Request a ballot to be mailed to you to vote
--Absentee In-Person Voting: Starts Wednesday, October 15
--Curbside Voting: Call to request curbside voting
--In-person Voting: November 4*
*Polling Locations ( for election day only) include the Yarmouth Fire Station and Mediapolis City Hall. If you normally vote at the Two Rivers Levee District for the Benton, Huron, or Jackson Township precincts, you will now vote at the Mediapolis City Hall.
