The Mediapolis Girls Basketball team is headed to the state tournament for the first time in 11 years! What an incredible achievement after their hard-fought regional win. We're proud of these talented athletes, coaches, and everyone who has supported them along the way. Go Bullettes! Our girls are scheduled to play next in the Class 3A State Tournament quarterfinals on Monday, March 2nd, at 8:30 p.m. at Casey's Center in Des Moines. Please note that while this is the listed start time, game times can fluctuate during the state tournament due to scheduling adjustments. In the interest of safety and to allow our community, families, students, and fans to travel to Des Moines and attend the game without rushing back late, we will be cancelling school on Tuesday, March 3rd. At this point in the year, we still have enough hours built into our school calendar, so this cancellation will not need to be made up. If our team advances and plays again on Thursday, March 5th, we will share another announcement on Tuesday with any updates regarding school and activities. Mediapolis CSD| One week left! The deadline is March 1, 2026 (September 1, 2026, for incoming kindergarten students). Families who want to open-enroll in the Mediapolis School District must have applications to our district office by that date.
