This week is National Bus Safety week. This year the theme was "Driving Safely Into the Future." Each year we use this week to celebrate our wonderful crew of drivers and our whole transportation department. Students made posters and thank you cards and our drivers were treated to rolls from our friend Martee Murguia at Apron Strings along with a casserole, pumpkin bars and fruits. We are lucky to have such amazing people keeping our students safe. Thank you again!

The Spanish Club held their first event of the year in celebration of the upcoming holiday Día de los Muertos! Students listened to music, shared food, and used their creativity and art skills to decorate pumpkins!
FFA Fall Fest is still on rain or shine for Saturday, October 28th! If weather issues, the event will be moved inside to the high school and elementary gyms. Can't wait for an afternoon of family fun! Chili cook-off, vendor fair, craft activities, petting zoo, outdoor yard games, costume contest, and concert. Free will donation for admission.
Save the Dates: Nov. 17th & 18th! Mediapolis High School presents GREASE the musical. 7:00pm both nights in the HS Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
Mediapolis Elementary would love for Veterans and their families to join us on Nov. 10th at 8:30am at the flagpole by the football field (located behind the school) to honor our Veterans. Then, we'll head to the gym for an assembly. Spread the word!

Today, representatives from Mediapolis attended the SCC signing partnership with the University of Iowa "Engineering Transfer Major." This agreement will bring another great opportunity for local students!
