Our administration team recently organized an Easter egg hunt for our staff, and we're thrilled to report that it was a success, largely due to the generous support of our local businesses! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Apron Strings, Jilly's Coffee & Cakes, Mediapolis Savings Bank, MTC, Myer's Construction, Bob's Best Shot, D & E Grille, Mepo Foods, Lips To Go, Jimmy John’s, The Flour Barn Creamery, Carlee Whitaker Designs, e-jae's boutique, Main Street Tire, Olde World Catering Company & Weekly To Go Meals, Century 21-Leiah Prall, and Impressive Sporting Goods & Apparel for their contributions. Your support truly made a difference, and without you, we couldn't have pulled off such a fantastic event. Thank you to these AMAZING businesses for your unwavering support!

The third grade classes have been reading the story "Aero and Officer Mike." Author Joan Plummer Russell spent a lot of time with Mike and Aero, and she saw how incredible their friendship is. In her book, she shows us not only the exciting police work they do together but also the special bond they share. Today was extra exciting because Officer Hoschek and K9 Officer Luna, came to visit our third grade classes! Officer Hoschek showed us how Luna sniffs around and follows her nose to track down hidden evidence. He also told us fun stories about Luna and answered all our questions about being a police dog. We learned so much and had a blast!

We had an amazing time celebrating Dr. Seuss week! The week was filled with engaging activities, from immersive reading sessions to exciting dress-up days that sparked creativity. Our students were thrilled to have mystery readers join us, adding an extra element of surprise and fun to our literary festivities. The highlight, however, was seeing families actively participate by coming in to read with us, fostering a love for reading and bonding over timeless stories. It was truly a week filled with joy, laughter, and the magic of Dr. Seuss's imagination.
