They held the first annual Bulldogs, Books, and Brew event! Our third graders shared the reading strategies bookmarks they created and read a story to our younger students. It was a fantastic experience for all involved!

Parent pick up and students who walk home will be dismissed at 10:40. Please stay out of the bus lanes until the buses leave.
Mediapolis Schools will dismiss at 10:30 today due to the city wide power outage and not being able to serve lunch. High school drivers and their siblings will be released to drive home prior to 10:30.
JH Girls BB Update: 7th Grade GBB vs ND will start at 4:30. No 8th grade game.
Beauty and the Beast was a huge success! Thank you to all the students who did amazing things on stage and behind the scenes. Jerry Woods, Ryan Greiner, Cory Byrne and Carol Hein were amazing in their dedication to helping students put on a top notch performance. Congrats to all....well done!!!

A team of educators attended the Leader In Me Symposium in Des Moines the past two days! They had the opportunity to visit LIM schools and participate in breakout sessions where they heard from schools about their leadership journeys. They are excited to bring this knowledge back and meet as a district in January to dive deeper into the 7 Habits with all of the staff.

The Jensen family generously donated JUST LIKE CAITLIN books to our 2nd graders! The kids received their books yesterday, and they absolutely loved them! 💛📚🖤 A huge thank you to the Jensens for this wonderful gift!

Mrs. Griffis' Advanced Lit classes are finishing up their unit on the life and works of Edgar Allan Poe. Students had to create a pair of Crocs with charms that symbolized what they learned about Poe's life or his short stories and poems. What a fun way to wrap up October and their third unit!
